‘Well Informed’ 1 hour Session

Screening -water‘Well Informed’ 1 hour Session is an education program that gives well owners the opportunity to have their well water samples to be screened for common contaminants including fecal coliform bacteria, nitrates, and high salinity. The screening of the water sample is followed by a 1 hour explanation of the screening results and water well protection practices and focuses on wellhead protection and recommendations for remediating well contamination.

Pick Up //

  • Sample containers can be picked up at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office for Mills County, 1011 4th Street in Goldthwaite.

Drop Off // March 6th

  • Drop off samples between 8:30—10:00am
  • Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office for Mills County, 1011 4th Street in Goldthwaite.

Results Meeting // March 7th

  • A meeting explaining screening results will be held at 7 p.m., March 7 at the Mills County Community Center, 1003 Parker Street in Goldthwaite.

March 7th, 2017 – Llano, TX

Pick Up //

  • Sample containers can be picked up at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office for Llano County, 1447 E. State Highway 71, Unit E, in Llano.

Drop Off // March 7th

  • Drop off samples between 8:30—10:00am
  • St. James Lutheran Church located - Schorlemmer Hall, located at 1401 Ford Street in Llano

Results Meeting // March 8th

  • A meeting explaining screening results will be held at 6 p.m., March 8 at the St. James Lutheran Church, Schorlemmer Hall, 1401 Ford Street in Llano.

Drop Off // March 8th

  • Drop off samples between 8:30—10:00am
  • At the Lampasas County Farm Bureau Office, 1793 N. U.S. Highway 281, Lampasas.

Results Meeting // March 9th

  • A meeting explaining screening results will be held at 6 p.m., March 9 at the Lampasas County Farm Bureau office, 1793 N. U.S. Hwy 281 in Lampasas.
